INSPIRATION
In my career as an OB/GYN, I have had the privilege of being able to help bring new life into the world. My experience has shown me that first-time parents in particular may find the entire experience of birth overwhelming. As a doctor, I became accustomed to using my knowledge, compassion, and patience to prepare my patients for the uncertainties that lie ahead.
As a mother, I keenly understand and empathize with the natural fears that ensue with the prospect of a newborn baby requiring a surgical procedure. Expanding my scope of medical practice to include ritual circumcision, or brit milah, became a natural progression for me.
I find so much fulfillment in guiding new parents through this oftentimes stressful process. My goal is to help alleviate their fears and create a meaningful and memorable ceremony. Lastly, I have discovered that turning an ordinary medical procedure into a significant religious event is incredibly powerful.
